2-piece Silk Strap

A 2-piece strap is sometimes better than 1(single-pass). This 2-piece silk strap allows watches to sit flatter on the wrist as many enthusiasts prefer. Zoom in to the lug area, you will see the transition of the weave as mentioned. It maintained the micro-adjustable function of the strap from the Single pass mechanism at 2 levels:

1. at the folded, buckle end. See product images
2. the buckle with teeth clamp similar to safety buckles in climbing equipment. See product images

Being able to micro adjust to fit your wrist size at any time of the day caters to any contraction or swelling due to temperature fluctuations. You are no longer restricted to in-between strap lengths where one hole may be too tight and the next hole, too loose.

Although the straps are woven in the same colors as the Reversible Silk single pass straps, we do not claim this series to be reversible. Technically, you can flip the strap to the other side provided you do not mind the joint line at the lug area shown on the reverse side of the strap. We would define the other side as the lining of the strap much like the lining of your jacket. Notice the change in the woven pattern at the spring bar position. A detail we all gasped at during production.
