This series is a great example of how we translate inspirations into our watch straps. For us, watch straps are not just something to strap your watch on your wrist. It has to look great on your watch, on your wrist and it needs to be durable. Most of all, it should allow you to wear your watch with an attitude. Find out how we developed this crisscrossing graphic on the X hatch. They are woven patterns, not printed which gives a flatter experience.
Are you fascinated with the macro world? Zoom in to old renderings of portraits on the common dollar notes and you will realize shades and 3D forms consist of only lines and cross-hatches. The portrait in the product image shows an example of what we are trying to describe. Look closer into the collar position of the cropped image. Can you find the secret embedded text?
In this series, we use a very basic weave but spaced the dots and lines to create a new visual texture. It is only through making prototypes that we are able to discover this new, wrist-hugging character. It is firm but keeps to the shape of your wrist like no other. We trust that you will like the new texture as we do. From fellow watch lovers’ reviews:
- This is by far, the most distinct RSM product
- These straps feel almost indestructible
Do you have a large, medium, or small wrist? We are catering different strap lengths for different wrist sizes. Pick one that will suit your wrist size the most. This will reduce the awkward positions of the buckle being too much off-center of your wrist or too much tail. Quick-release spring bars for the 2-piece version will enable quick change of straps and reduce the stressful removal process.
