Where Nature Weaves Camouflage: Meet Snow & Desert

Our imagination took RSM to the Arctic oceans to observe life in the cold where the walrus roam freely. We may be stationed in the warmth of the tropics, but it is precisely our imagination that took us to developing this brand. In January of 2026, we are releasing 2 new camo series: The Snow Camo Strap and the Desert Camo Strap.

Unlike conventional camouflage straps that rely on surface printing, RSM’s camo ranges are Jacquard-woven using pre-dyed polyester yarns, never post-printed or post-dyed. This is an intentional departure from post-printed techniques, where patterns sit flat on the surface and fade unevenly. By weaving with pre-dyed yarns at the pixel level, colours interact structurally within the textile itself. The result is a strap with multi-layered tonal relief, richer transitions, and greater depth. The weave produces subtle highlights and shadows as light moves across the wrist—an effect that post-dyed or printed straps simply cannot replicate. It is more complex, more expressive, and closer to how nature composes its own palettes.

The Snow Camo strap is inspired by the monochrome theatre of high-altitude mountain winters, where white glare, rock greys, and deep shadow blacks merge into a shifting, minimal spectrum. The spirit of the pattern draws strength from 14 Peaks, the Netflix series that captures the raw resilience of Himalayan summits and the unsung heroes of the mountains—the Sherpas. At each peak, the sweeping whiteout terrain and fractured ridgeline shadows are what the Snow Camo strap seeks to emulate: contrast distilled into quiet, tactical art.

Seen here paired with a Tudor Ranger 36mm, the strap echoes the same philosophy as the watch—purpose-built, understated, enduring. The image of the Tudor Ranger against snow completes the story.

The Desert Camo strap, conversely, is a study of arid survival. Its palette takes direct inspiration from desert lichens, organisms that endure extreme dehydration, heat, and cold, clinging to stone while painting the desert in dusty olive, ash-grey, ochre, and sun-bleached tan. Their slow growth and pigment layering transform barren rock into artwork formed by hardship. This same natural colour harmony guided RSM’s desert tone ratios.

Featured here with a CWC G-10 watch, the pairing reinforces a military heritage rooted in environment, adaptation, and function.

Two terrains. One principle: camouflage as structural art, woven from survival, shaped by landscape, built for adventure.
